Respected Nepalese Community in Florida and Beyond, HAPPY Bijaya Dashami 2068!
Bijaya Dashami is the celebration of victory of Goddess Durga over Demon and this tradition goes back to centuries in our Hindu religion. In keeping with the rich Hindu tradition, our communities are celebrating this festival in all regions of Florida.
On this festive occasion I'd like to wish you all good health, happiness and prosperity in your lives.
It has been almost one year since FANS came into existence and I'd like to take this opportunity to highlight some of its accomplishments and upcoming events. FANS' motto has always been to place the interests and benefits of Nepali community first and we strive to work towards this goal every day.
FANS Ad-hoc executive committee members join me in taking this opportunity to thank our well wishers for their kind support and encouragement. We are here to serve the needs of our members and that of Nepalese community at large. Please let us know how we can be more efficient in meeting our goals.
On this auspicious occasion, on behalf of FANS, I would like to encourage all Nepalese to be part of state and regional Dashain celebrations. There are no human boundaries while celebrating these types of religious and cultural events. On this day, let us forgive and forget our differences and unite together and be just a Nepali of which we all collectively take pride. The list of Dashain celebrations in various cities of Florida are as follows.
Once again, wishing you and your families a wonderful Dashain. May Goddess Durga Bhawani bless us all!
